Georgia Periodontics will always be in communication with your dentist, this enables all of us to provide you with the most comprehensive care. We expect our patients to understand all of their treatment options so they are able to make informed decisions about their health.
Scheduling an appointment
After you have scheduled your consultation appointment, new patient forms will be sent to you to complete at home and bring with you. If you have not been able to complete these forms, please arrive a few minutes early to complete any paperwork before seeing the doctor.
Please assist us at the time of your initial visit to the office by providing the following information:
- Your referral slip and any x-rays from your referring dentist.
- A list of medications you are currently taking.
If you normally take an antibiotic pre-medication for cleanings please
- Pre-medicate before your consultation.
Payment of the consultation appointment is due in full at that appointment, even if you have dental insurance coverage. The fee for the consultation will be included with any insurance filing that is done.
Please Note: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation appointment.
If your referring dentist has taken x-rays, you may request that they be forwarded to us.
Once again, we would like to welcome you to our Periodontal and Implant specialty practice. We pledge to do our best to give you excellent, professional care in a comfortable environment.
The Periodontists are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you as soon as possible.
We try to stay on schedule to minimize waiting at the time of your appointment. Referral of emergency patients can cause delays to the schedule, and your understanding and patience are very much appreciated.
